It has been practised for thousands of years and it has been proven to keep the body healthy and the mind calm, so that contentment, balance and harmony can be brought into our daily lives. Everyone can practise yoga, even those of us who are unwell. Yoga poses, modified where necessary, can help us to regain or maintain strength and suppleness of the muscles and joints. Regular practice of yoga may result in many benefits to both the physical and mental states.
Hatha yoga is suitable for everyone whatever your flexibility or fitness level is and is also excellent for beginners. It is important to maintain the true essence of yoga by always encouraging the student to "listen" to where their body is at any given time and to practice within their own comfort zone whether you are new or an experienced yogi.
Yoga classes are tailored to a suit a mixed abililty which also includes a therapeutic approach that enable those with any body restrictions or injuries to enjoy a regular yoga practice. All students are very much encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Wear loose comfortable clothing
Bring a non slip yoga mat
Bring a blanket and socks for relaxation
Refrain from eating 1-2 hours before practice (or eat very light as yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach)
