Booking Terms / Refund Policy

Terms & Conditions 

Please be mindful when booking a course of classes/ workshops or events and read our terms & conditions below before booking.

Please note:

Please consult your Medical Practitioner prior to practicing yoga and always move within a pain free zone. It is the student's responsibility to take care of him/herself during their practice and to ensure that the space is clear of any obstruction.  You should consult a physician prior to enrolling to practise yoga or meditation if concerned. Otherwise you assume the physical risk of your physical condition, past and current medical issues/injuries/illness or medication that may affect you taking this class. You understand that these classes are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. 

 

1. Liability Waiver

You accept that neither the teachers, personnel, Yoga Essence and its owners and class venue owner(s) are liable for any injury to self or child, or damages, to person or property, resulting from taking the class either through in-person or through online platform or at anytime in the future.   You use the premises at your risk for classes or workshops, you waive any claim against Yoga Essence. its teachers or class venue(s) owners for injury or damage that you may suffer as a result of participating in the said classes or workshops. 

By booking classes and courses through our website, you are accepting this waiver.

We strongly advise that if a student is pregnant, that they attend a tailored pregnancy yoga class suitable only from 15wks as our general yoga classes are not suitable during pregnancy.

 

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy 

2.1 Weekly Classes cannot be refunded once a course of classes has begun.  The cancellation window for all online classes and workshops is 24 hours prior to the course starting.

2.2  Events cannot be refunded if not attended.  The cancellation window events is outside the 48 hours and  is a known as "early cancellation".  This is to give us enough time to sell your place. The credit will then be put back onto your Yoga Essence account and to be used again for future classes/events.

2.3  Cancellation made within the 48 hour window, this is know as a "late cancellation"  whereby no credits or refunds are available.

2.5 Full Refunds or a transfer are only issued if a course or an event has been cancelled by Yoga Essence.

2.6  Policy for Deposits:  We run our classes and incur costs on the basis of the upfront payments committed.  All deposits are non-refundable.  Deposits and fully paid bookings (for a course that has commenced) indicate a student's commitment to a course or hire and maybe denying another student's chance of participation. 

2.7 Unfortunately and for security reasons, we cannot guarantee entry to the building once the class has started. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals. Please ensure you arrive to class at least 5 minutes before the start of your class. 

 

3. Bookings

All bookings can be made online through our online booking system Momoyoga.  Otherwise registrations for bookings are taken by phone or email. Please note that due to limited class sizes, a place is only guaranteed by receipt of full payment.  Bookings are on a first come, first served basis.

 

4. Payments

4.1  Course fees can be paid securely online through our secure online booking system MomoYoga which is securely powered by Stripe. 
4.2  We also accept exact amount cash or cheque for in-person classes but must be paid prior to attending at least 48hours to secure your booking. 
4.3  We accept all major Credit and Debits cards.
4.4  Yoga Essence is not responsible for any fees, charges, exchange rates or additional charges levied by individual financial institutions or credit card companies.
4.8  All transactions will be processed in EURO (€). We cannot accept any other currency for payment.
4.5  No booking is final until full payment is received.  

 

5. Class/Course Terms of Booking: 

5.1  All in-person classes, courses or workshops purchased from Yoga Essence must be preceded by way of completing a Registration Form at class, stating that he/she has no  physical limitations preventing him/her from participation.

5.1 a) Please click on this link to complete NEW STUDENT YOGA REGISTRATION FORM.  All students new to Yoga Essence are required to complete this form PRIOR to there first class for Meditation or Yoga.
5.1  b) Please click on this link to complete the SOUND HEALING REGISTRATION FORM prior to all Sound Healing Events.

5.2  Specifically, as noted on the registration Form, you acknowledge that, considering your own capabilities and limitations, it is not necessary for you to undertake the practices, exercises and training suggested by the class teacher.

5.3  You should consult a physician prior to enrolling to practise yoga if concerned. Otherwise you assume the physical risk of my your physical condition, past and current medical issues/injuries/illness or medication that may affect you taking this class. You understand that these classes are not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment.

5.4  You recognize that it is your responsibility to notify your teacher of any serious illness or injury before every yoga class. You will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain. If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. 

5.5  We strongly advise that if a student is pregnant, that they attend our tailored Pregnancy Yoga classes suitable only from 15wks as our general yoga classes are not suitable during pregnancy.

5.6  You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.

5.7  All applicants must be over 16 years of age to be eligible to attend all regular yoga classes. 

5.8  Furthermore, all applicants release Yoga Essence, its owners, directors, managers and all employees & contractors of all liability regarding: 1) any injury to self or child 2) any loss or damage to personal property.

 

6. Missed classes

6.1  Missed classes cannot be used as credit from one course to another and are non-transferable to another student for insurance purposes.

6.2  Refunds are not given for missed classes due to illness, injury or holidays during a course term to maintain ongoing viability of our classes for everyone else. We will endeavour to accomodate as best we can. Refer to 6.3

6.3  Students are very welcome to make up missed in-person classes during course term only by attending our other yoga or meditation classes only if available on schedule (excluding workshops / events).  Otherwise all students will have access to class recordings for 7 days as part of the booking.

6.4  Unfortunately and for security reasons, we cannot guarantee entry to the building once the class has started. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals. Please ensure you arrive at the studio at least 5 minutes before the start of your class. 

 

7. Injury/Illness

7.1  Refunds/transfer of any unused classes cannot be given for missed classes due to illness/injury during a course term due to maintain ongoing viability of our classes for everyone else. Students are very welcome to make up a missed class during course term only by attending a different class type (where available) or may have extended viewing of class recordings. We endeavour to accomodate you as best we can so our students receive the benefits of their classes.  If you have been ill/injured, please contact us as soon as possible to re-arrange your access to classes through class recordings.  We cannot offer this arrangement after course dates have lapsed and without any communication from our students.  We must remain consistent in our policies and ask that you understand this approach as this is rooted in fairness to all our students and cannot make any exceptions to maintain the ongoing viability of our classes for everyone. We endeavour to be sensitive and fair to our students needs and really appreciate your understanding. 

 

8.Request of transfer to different course of classes

8.1 If you have a sudden unexpected schedule change, we will endeavour to accommodate student via attending online or through accessing class recordings. 

8.2 This must be pre-arranged.  Any unused classes cannot be transferred to an new term or used a credit against workshops or new course of classes.

 

9. Gift Voucher

9.1 Gift Vouchers are available for purchase and can only be used against a course of consecutive yoga classes for one student only and cannot be used on a drop-in basis. Vouchers are valid for up to 5 years from date of issue.  Change or credit cannot be given against gift vouchers.  Please note that the recipient must book a place on their selected course by contacting us in advance email or phone.  To arrange purchase, please contact Sonya at sonya@yogaessence.ie

 

10. Class times & dates 

10.1 Class times are listed under Class Schedule.  Course dates may be subject to change where upon students will be notified in advance of the course start date.

 

11. Our Website

11.1 Information published is provided for the use of its visitors and student and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur. No guarantee is given of the accuracy or completeness of information on these pages.

11.2 Please be aware that Yoga Essence may alter the information on its web site from time to time. 

11.3 Yoga Essence shall have no liability arising from the use by any party of the information on this website.

11.4 Yoga Essence does not warrant the information on this web site in any way and in particular no warranty is given that the web site or its contents or hypertext links are virus free or uncontaminated.

11.5 You are advised to make your own virus checks and to implement your own precautions in this respect.

11.6 Yoga Essence exclude all liability for contamination or damage caused by any virus or electronic transmission.

 

12. Location

12.1 In person events / workshops are held in various location in Celbridge. 

12.2 Virtual Live classes are held online via Zoom.

 

13.1  Class Preparation (in-person)

13.1 If you are a new student, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to and to give yourself time to settle on your mat. 

13.2 Please wear loose layered comforable clothing, wear warm socks for relaxation to keep feet warm. 

13.3 We require all students to bring their own yoga mat and props as there will be no spares available.

13.4 Bring a bottle of water if you wish.

13.5 Make sure your teacher is aware of any pre-existing condition or injury that might affect your yoga practice. Honor your body and practice within your body’s limitations.

13.6. We ask kindly that shoes are removed before entering class.   During yoga practice, students may place their hands on the floor and lie on their mats, so we keep the floor a shoe-free zone to maintain hygiene for everyone.

13.7 If you have to bring your phone, please make sure that it is turned off completely from vibrate as not to disturb other students during the class.

13.8 Please honour your time keeping do not arrive to class 10 mins after start time as not to disturb other students.  Unfortunately and for security reasons, we cannot guarantee entry to a building once the class has started.

13.9 If you have to leave a class early, tell your teacher and leave quietly before the closing relaxation.

13.10 Be kind to yourself. Take rests. Remember wherever you are; you are perfect

13.11 Just bring yourself and enjoy some time out for yourself and just be!
