Pregnancy_Yoga_3.jpgHaving a baby is one of the most important events in any woman's life.  Pregnancy is a wonderful time to practice yoga. Specialised pregnancy yoga classes will help you both emotionally and physically helping to release any tension in the body while also helping to ease emotional changes bringing balance and a feeling of grounding.  There are so many changes happening during pregnancy such as hormonal and structural changes in the body.  Therefore a woman needs to be gently facilitated through these ongoing changes through a specifically modified set of yoga movements that support both mum and baby as she moves through each stage or trimester.  Pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to also bond with unborn baby.  Through some very gentle breathing practices, learn the art of a beautiful guided relaxation while also learning to prepare for birth through the breath and visualisation.  These classes are a lovely way of getting to know other Mums-to-be locally while many students have said that this class really can help with their sleeping while pregnant.
